My name is Valentina Milcheva
clinical psychologist and psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapist

“The experience of psychoanalysis, far from being reducible to a technical procedure, has only one rule: that of the originality of the scenario in which subjective individuality manifests itself. Psychoanalysis is therefore not a technique, but a discourse that encourages each person to work out his uniqueness, his exception.”
Eric Laurent
“The Guiding Principles of Psychoanalytic Action”
Over the years, I have completed training and gained practical experience in various psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic approaches.
Psychoanalysis has fascinated me since the moment I chose to study psychology.
In my clinical practice, I have worked with people experiencing various forms of emotional distress, including anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts and behaviours, depression, difficulties in relationships and intimacy, parenting-related concerns, and more. My experience includes working with people of different ages and backgrounds, some carrying a great deal of anger, others struggling with insecurity or sadness, feelings of emptiness, and individuals seeking answers and wanting to feel better about themselves and their lives.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in“Psychology“
• Master’s degree in “Clinical and Counselling Psychology” at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia
Beginning of therapeutic experience
2008, at the “Dinamika” Centre for Psychotherapy, Counselling and Consulting, where I gained a substantial part of my clinical experience.
